A TREASURED PAST

To understand the charm and appeal of Golden Coach Manor you'd have to start with its' beginning. The present-day appearance is vastly different than what it was 50 years ago.

Originally named Rail Track Ranch, this 24-acre property once operated as an egg ranch before being purchased by the Herbolds. Upon purchase, it was converted to a cattle ranch that boasted 30 head of Hereford cattle, pheasants, chickens, and a donkey.

As small farms and ranches gave way to an expanding city and urban life, the Herbolds wanted to bring something that would grow and enrich the lives of the citizens of Hemet. In 1973, the idea of a mobile home park for 55+ did just that.

Since then, we’ve been a well-established retirement community for 55+, proudly serving our residents and the city of Hemet.
